Mykenai is a city on the Isle of Inachos in the Aegaic Ocean, and also the capital city of Thrai County. It is a mighty port city, home to many merchants that use the sea as a mode of transport.
Location
A ridgeline of mountains forms the northern edge of Inachos island. Where the mountains slope down to the ocean, to the west of the island, lies Mykenai, sheltered from the elements by the cliffs. A natural lagoon houses the Harbor of Mykenai.
It is located about a week of sailing south-southeast from Ismarus, the capital city of Odyssa.

The Fort
Where the mountains disappear the city is revealed to the elements, and worse, to incoming cannonfire. To remedy this, a wall was built, lined with parapets. It starts on the south side of the city, where the mountains still hug the buildings. From there it winds north, to a small hill a little ways away from the actual city. Atop stands a mighy fort, able to withstand a massive naval assault. Its elevated position give it a good vantage point over any attacking pirate vessels. The parapet wall is lined with cannons, to return any incoming projectiles.
The Harbor of Mykenai
Housed in a large lagoon in front of the city, outside of the walls, is the Harbor of Mykenai, the home to the King’s Navy. Its shipyard is renowned by seamen all over the continent, having produced many a nautical wonder, such as the Trident and the King’s Courage. It is run by Harbormaster Clark, a stern but kind-hearted official in the service of the Count.
