Oaksby is a human town on Sionna Creek, in Tristan's Hills. It is populated primarily by humans, hill dwarves and halflings.
Geography
Numerous streams combine in Tristan’s Hills, flowing together to carve valleys between the hills. Along Sionna Creek, before it flows out the hills and joins the Silver Run, sits the town of Oaksby. The hillside south of the river displays the most houses, a large watermill being the tallest building in the town. A few farms fill the northern slopes, and acres of farmland stretch from the town. A road leads through the village, Oaksby having one of the only bridges across the Sionna. Northward it eventually turns west and follows the river towards the highway that leads from Gellarney on the coast deep into the Eastlands. Southward it splits, and leads to the other villages and hamlets dotted throughout the Hills like Willowby and Hillbarrier, and eventually to Shimmervale Forest.
A couple miles from the town is the estate of Master O’Downey, a local noble who oversees the couple of villages along the Sionna.
An hour’s walk from Oaksby is Donegal Quarry, a mining facility owned by two dwarven brothers, Lyron and Damon Donegal.
