Thera Mountain Range

A mountain range in the southeast of Aenín, just above the ocean and west of the great forest. They are named Thera.

Geography

These mountains form a solid spine through the southern landscape. Its tailbone extends into the seaside slopes of Odyssa, where they form a friendly horizon. To the west the evergreen expanse of Drassfell Forest creeps up its sides, the mountains acting as a barrier between the trees and the grassy hills of Taurell on the east. The head of the mountain range is located south of the Great Green Road that connects the Eastlands to the western world.

The northern peaks of the Thera mountain range are steep, shrouded in both mist and mystery. These airy peaks are home to a secluded monastery, the monastery of Bor-Shasa. To the south the mountains split into an eastern and southern range. Right between the two great spurs lies the dwarven stronghold of Rhûn.
